Elite 1 roof and Elite 55, 57 wall systems met the aesthetic vision of this exciting £24 million project
The Project
The project’s Developer, Firethorn Developments Ltd objective was to build a landmark net-zero industrial scheme in Bedfordshire. The 25.5-acre site in Leighton Buzzard incorporated 14,000sq ft – 123,500sq ft high-specification industrial units, eight in total.
The Main Contractor Winvic were appointed to conduct the ambitious construction, which also featured generous landscaping and extensive outdoor amenity areas. Specific pedestrian and cycle routes were installed within the locality as well as modern welfare resources.
The site also included solar power generation, electric charging points and LED lighting to the office areas within the project design, which contributed towards the resulting BREEAM: Very Good status awarded to the scheme.
Euroclad Group Ltd were specified to supply roof and wall solutions to furnish the envelope of the building, meeting the aesthetic vision of this exciting £24 million project.
Euroclad’s Elite 1 Range Roof System (37,000m²) including rooflights (6000m²), Elite 55 (17,000m²) and Elite 57 (11,100m²) Range Wall Systems were manufactured in accordance with the specification requirements and delivered to site, meeting the phasing requirements of the project. The products were installed by the appointed sub-contractor and roofing and cladding specialists IRC Carocelle Ltd.
