x2 Quality Test Centre Technician

Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure all manufactured product provides a high level of quality that meets customer expectation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for testing and analysing manufactured product in controlled laboratory conditions, confirming that the product delivers against specification. 
  • Responsible for testing core materials, ensuring they meet correct specification. 
  • Input all test results in the format required, ensure all documentation is kept up to date in an orderly manner. 
  • Identify trends and highlight suggestions for improvement 
  • Assist with and prepare operational KPI data for analysis 
  • Monitor testing equipment performance to ensure process stability and control 
  • Be an important influence in product and process development trials 
  • Manage the laboratory keeping the workplace to a high standard 
  • Able to highlight any quality issues to management in a timely manner 
  • Support the Process Conformance Engineer with project work 
  • Satisfy the business’ Factory Production Control requirements against all standards

SHE Advisor

Main Purpose of Role:

To provide advice and guidance to the group to ensure compliance with legislation and applicable standards.
To actively contribute to continuously improving our processes and procedures.

Stores Operator

Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure the correct receipt, storage and despatch of materials and components, to continually achieve stock accuracy, OTIF delivery of goods with correct documentation and SAP accuracy.

​Main Responsibilities 

  • Work with Procurement to ensure appropriate stock control and SAP maintenance
  • Liaise with relevant departments regarding material stock levels and requirements
  • Ensure correct data in SAP at all times
  • Conduct picking activities to ensure 100% accuracy and OTIF is achieved
  • Ensure an understanding of any risk assessments and safe working practices related to the stores area of work
  • Ensure timely and accurate transfer of goods to Unit A
  • Undertake regular, timely stock checks as and when required, and resolve any issues that maybe highlighted
  • Maintain up-to-date stock data at all times
  • Ensure all incoming goods are clearly identified in line with documentation and are booked in accurately on SAP
  • Ensure appropriate documentation for goods received is correctly signed and passed to relevant department
  • Ensure OTIF picking of goods and that all picked products are photographed prior to loading
  • Ensure safe loading of all goods being despatched and confirm that packaging is adequate to ensure minimal risk to product during transit
  • Ensure best-possible house-keeping standards are maintained in all areas, with all roads and gangways kept clean and free of debris at all times
  • Provide system data on inventory control, goods receipt and any critical material shortages
  • Provide support for issue resolution via collaboration with procurement and accounts
  • To carry out all activities safely, complying with all housekeeping and environmental requirements
  • When required, train other team members in required tasks and system operations
  • Report any issues with fork-lifts or other facilities that disrupt the team’s performance
  • Respond to email queries in an appropriate and timely manner

OSR Team Leader

Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure Operators are manufacturing products to the expected high standard. The Team Leader is also responsible for making sure employees are adhering to Health and Safety guidelines, as well as driving the department forward with respect to KPI’s and efficiencies.

​Main Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all Operators have the correct paperwork and understanding to manufacture the products
  • Make sure all employees in the department are adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Complete all HR relevant paperwork, for example, return to works, exception reports and late forms.
  • Managing holidays and absence within the department
  • Reporting on KPI’s and efficiencies
  • Could be required to manufacture products on occasions
  • Reporting on all machine faults and/or quality concerns.

Production Planner

Main Purpose of Role:

To coordinate the planning of all Production orders, managing Customers requirements, and monitoring lead-times.

​Main Responsibilities 

  • To plan all customer orders to meet the RDD in line with manufacturing capacity and stock availability.
  • Orders to be planned to maximise efficiencies.
  • Liaise with the Manufacturing department to agree on working hours and capacity levels by work centre.
  • Liaise with procurement department to coordinate stock availability to meet customer RDD’s.
  • Set appropriate lead times and liaise with Sales departments.
  • Communicate any delays to Sales/Customer Services.
  • Release jobs for manufacture by allocating material and printing job cards for each work centre.
  • Order specific quality templates for curved orders.
  • Compile detailed manufacturing output figures for month end reporting
  • To work as part of a planning team and offer cover and support to other team members when required

x2 Order Fulfilment Administrators

Main Purpose of Role:

Processing orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy. Co-ordinating order and date amendments. Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure the customer requirements are met. Responsible for ownership of orders/accounts ensuring no orders are in the past.

​Main Responsibilities 

  • Answering telephone calls/emails from customers or internal company departments
  • Inputting all customer orders on the Company ERP System – SAP
  • Ensure all order details are supplied by the customer, contact customers where information is missing
  • Managing quality checks on all orders
  • Managing daily reports ensuring no issues with orders
  • Bulk order management and reducing bulks accordingly when cut length schedules are received
  • Liaise with planning, transport, sales and aftercare departments when required

  • Routing of complaints to the aftercare department
  • Updating customers when lead times cannot be met

Site Services Engineer

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Assist in the correct Specification and Installation of Eurobond Products working with the External Sales Team
  • Ensure delivery of best practice with respect to the Design and Installation of Eurobond Products via onsite installation training with customers
  • Reduce potential complaints/claims by early Proactive project intervention
  • Manage customer complaint and claims management
  • Final Inspection Reports for Warranty purposes
  • Provide feedback into the business from customers and site with respect to ‘product offer’ issues: improvements; additions; developments
  • Direct the development, installation and sign off (where appropriate) of projects
  • Assist the Technical team in installation of testing rigs when required

​Main Responsibilities

Despatch Operator

Main Purpose of Role:

  • To ensure all orders of Euroclad Product is loaded and despatched correctly, on time and the corresponding paperwork is checked and completed accurately.

​Main Responsibilities 

  • Load Euroclad product in a prompt manner, communicating relevant information to the Despatch Team leader
  • Liaise with Despatch Team Leader to organise workload and priorities
  • Liaise with Production Team Leaders to resolve any issues that may arise in relation to unsatisfactory product
  • Load vehicles as required ensuring “zero” loading / delivery damage
  • Communicate with haulers in relation to deliveries
  • Ensure load photos are taken of all product leaving site
  • Ensure smooth running of deliveries, collection, customer returns, customer collections, adhering to all relevant procedures flagging issues to the Despatch Team leader
  • Make recommendations to improve on performance / procedures.

Assistant Buyer

Main Purpose of Role:

  • To support the Procurement team in ensuring on-time supply of materials and services, in line with business requirements.

    Key aspects include the processing of orders, administration of Direct-To-Site deliveries and co-ordination of all Procurement-related documentation.

​Main Responsibilities 

  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with Procurement team and all internal departments associated with the procurement function.
  • Input supplier purchase orders on SAP system, ensuring accurate completion and on-time issuing.
  • React accordingly to changes in order details or delivery schedules.
  • Ensure SAP workflow processes are followed, and daily disciplines are completed.
  • Ensure closure of Direct-To-Site deliveries on a daily basis, confirming delivery of goods on SAP.
  • Ensure all relevant Proof-Of-Delivery documentation is in place ahead of month-end reporting periods, including Direct-To-Site deliveries.
  • Confirm status of incoming deliveries to Cardiff Stores.
  • Liaise directly with key suppliers on materials and/or deliveries, as and when required.
  • Co-ordinate all procedures and documentation associated with the procurement function, in order to meet all internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is completed in respect to supplier compliance.
  • Create a structured compilation of relevant material specifications and data sheets.
  • Assist with storage of Procurement documentation in a systematic, retrievable way, in alignment with current Sharepoint structure.
  • Maintain appropriate, structured, professional relationships with external suppliers.
  • Support supplier review discussions when required.
  • If required, liaise with Stores to ensure appropriate stock control.
  • Assist with issue resolution via collaboration with accounts and suppliers.

Skills & Attributes 

  • Experience within a fast-track Procurement or Supply Chain environment.
  • Good attention-to-detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
